1. Να είσαι παρόν.
2. Να δίνεις κατευθύνσεις και επιλογές και όχι εντολές.
3. Να εξηγείς την διαφορά ανάμεσα στη επιθυμία και την ανάγκη.
4. Να φροντίζεις για τις ανάγκες και αν κουβεντιάζεις για τις επιθυμίες.
5. Να θυμάσαι πάντα ότι εσύ εναλλάσσεις τις αξίες.
6. Να εξηγείς τις φυσικές συνέπειες των πράξεων και να μην τιμωρείς.
7. Να επιβραβεύεις καθημερινά.
8. Να εστιάζεις και στα δυνατά σημεία όχι μόνο στις αδυναμίες.
9. Να θυμάσαι ότι η προσδοκία καθορίζει τα πράγματα.
10. Να μην ξεχνάς ποτέ εσένα παιδί.
